We've been invited back!

The Charleston MINI Club has been invited back to participate in the Charleston St. Patrick’s Day Parade a second year in a row!! Let’s spread the JOY and LUCK across Charleston again!! Watch the smiles on the kids’ faces light up and parents fill their hearts with joy.

Dress your car, driver, and passengers up in green and celebrate the day with us.

The CMC will supply Candy and beads to toss to the spectators of the parade.

If you would like to be the lead car and have a creative way or would like come up with a creative way to temporarily display the CMC banner from your car please let the admins know and we will work with you on that (A prize will be given to the owner / driver of that MINI). IF WE DO NOT HAVE A MINI / WAY TO DISPLAY THE BANNER, we will need two (2) volunteers to walk the CMC banner in the front of the line (Prizes will be given to the volunteers).

We will be driving the MINI for MINI of Charleston. This car will be the last car in line.

We have enough cars to attend.

Registration has been extended to 03/14/16. PLEASE REGISTER IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO.

Everyone who attends the parade gets treated to some free pizza provided by CMC.

While eating pizza we will play a game for extra prizes.

The CMC will provide a prizes one number attached to each prize. Depending on how many contestants there are depends on how many prizes and how many numbers. Contestants will not know the numbers associated with the prizes. After all contestants randomly draw a number, they will have one chance to see if anyone would like to trade that number. Numbers on the prizes will be reviled and given to the appropriate contestant with the matching number to the prize.

The Route and Game Plan for the Parade

BE AT LOCATION A AT 8:15 AM

• To do your finishing touches and line up before the line up so we don’t mess around with the Charleston Parade Chaos

Head down to Radcliffe St. As a group 8:45 AM

• Charleston wants us to meet them on Radcliffe St. To sign in by 9:00 AM

Parade begins at 10:00 AM

• We drive in the Parade down King St. to Broad St. then pull over on Ashley Avenue next to the Colonial Lake to take anything off the cars if necessary. Maybe do a group photo.

Drive to Steel City Pizza for a Pizza Party

• Free Pizza and soft drinks for those that attended and had fun with us, while supporting our Charleston MINI Club and MINI of Charleston.
