City of Charleston Parade

Ladies and gentlemen we have recently been given the privelage to attend the Charleston City Parade!! We appologize such short notice, but we were recently given the OK by the City of Charleston.  Since this is based on such short notice we need to act quickly, for our last hoorah of 2021.  We have been alotted a maximum of 8 cars this year.  So we are looking for those in our group with the most Christmas Spirit to decorate and flash our wheels!! The registration will allow 8 cars and we have opened up a wait list just in case if we can get enough registrations fast enough we are wiling to see if the city will allow us to add more to the line up since we are almost half the size of most other cars in other clubs.

We will meet at Brittlebank Park at 1:30 PM (1300) on Sunday 12/05. This is where we will give you your pass to enter the parade and line up with us.  We will head over to lockwood at 2:00 PM (1400) and finish car decorations.  Everyone has been instructed not to dressup as Santa, since the city is the only one that Can represent Santa in their parade.

Please remember to do the following before arriving:

• Fuel UP
• Bring a radio and a spare if you have one
• Bring the stuff to decorate your MINI
• We wil be in Zone 4
• Items are not allowed to be tossed to the spectators
• Santa Claus is the City's featured guest this year. Parade participants, floats, or entries may not use a live Santa Claus or a representation of Santa Claus
• All vehicles will adhere to all applicable safe vehicle operations and will be subject to citation for unlawful and unsafe acts.
• Drivers are responsible for maintaining control of their vehicle. Do not tailgate or leave gaps. Keep about four car lengths between each entry at all times
• Vehicles may acknowledge their sponsors with poster, banners, or similar. Entries deemed to be advertising or promotional only in nature and fail to promote a Holiday theme may not be allowed to participate.
